Well, it seems like it took forever to get here but I finally received my dual mode mobile VOIP phone today. It will be interesting to see what it takes to configure it and get everything running.
I guess the first order of business will be to get the $22..95 plan from GI-Connect. Then I will have to get a SIM card with GPRS access. I hear that AT&T has one for $23/mo. That will put the total monthly charge at around $50. Much better than AT&T's current all inclusive plan which runs at $140/mo.
I've got to find a wireless hotspot so I can test making a call without GSM or GPRS.
